Three days before the college football national championship game, star quarterback LeMarcus James and teammate Emmett Sunday call for a strike, declaring that they will not compete until equality, respect and fair pay are provided to the student-athletes who risk their bodies and health for their school. With billions of dollars at stake, head coaches and their various stakeholders must fight against the clock to preserve or destroy the viable collegiate athletic system.
